ReferralNet Desktop Client - Release Notes

General enhancements and fixes in regard to templates.

Help options now direct the user to the specific desktop client support page rather than the general wiki page.

Bug fix in regard to recieved messages being incorrectly filed to the Problems folder when certain HL7 field values are not supplied.

Added support for JRE 1.6 u14 upwards which imposed additional security restrictions upon the client.

Extended templating to optionally generate a flattened HTML representation of the HTML form if an XSLT document is present within the archive.

Fixed ability to edit fields within the patient dialog when invoked from the hyperlink.

Fixed issue triggered by sending messages to recipients you haven't sent to before

Fixed data store persistence bug when sending a reply message.

Changed "Cancel" to "Discard" on all saved or currently edited messages.

Improved error logging of DB creation errors. DB Schema creation errors force an exit with error messages to the user.

RTF parsing out of HL7 errors fixed.

Server password changes now persisted correctly in the client.

When replying to a referral sent from the deprecated v2.3 desktop client, the copy-on-reply setting is now honoured.

Version number of client now available in "About".

Displaying better errors when HTTP/400 error occurs.

Attachments constrained to scrollable area.

Added "create desktop shortcut" to help menu.

Better detection of broken ReferralNet shortcuts.

Better error message when unable to connect to the ReferralNet messaging service.

Fixed display of non-referral messages.

The "Refresh Patient Details" function now correctly re-reads data values from supported clinical applications.
